Baltimore Grassroots Media (BGM) was founded in the beginning of 2004 by public access TV volunteers, producers and concerned citizens to organize the public effort for public access TV in Baltimore City. We continue to advocate for public access TV as well as other public media, educate about the importance of media literacy and media democracy, provide video coverage of local events, produce TV programs and help others produce their own programs to challenge the supremacy of corporate-controlled mass media.
