KSKQ is low power (100 Watt) Community Radio Station. Its studio is located in the Industrial District of Ashland. Currently KSKQ is streaming locally-produced and national subscription programming over the internet at www.kskq.org . KSKQ fills the niche in the Rogue Valley for a locally-owned, independent radio source, where any citizen or group can "make radio happen." Producers must be willing to become members of the station, and they must be trained in the technical aspects and protocols of producing radio. Current programming proposals include a wide variety of shows: language and culture; music of all sorts: blues, rock and classical; local news and public interest; senior issues and much more. We are an affiliate of Pacifica Radio--a national radio source--and are currently streaming "Democracy Now" and "Free Speech Radio News."
